Bach Flower essences
What are Bach Flower remedies?
Bach flower remedies are natural elixirs made from wild plants. They support the transformation of emotional states and mental blockages, helping you find balance in your daily life and reconnect with your own inner path.
How do they work ?
They create a subtle impulse, a movement within the body and the spirit that brings clarity. They don’t suppress emotions, but allow them to move, to be seen, and understood. Through that process, something can shift, release, and transform. They open a space to reconnect with yourself, peeling back the layers that keep you stuck.
What kind of emotional states do they support?
Flower remedies support a wide range of emotional states, across different phases of life. They can help with anxiety, stress or depression, but also more specific inner blockages such as fear, lack of self-confidence, indecision, feeling lost, despair, or disconnection from the present moment. They can support you through transitions like a breakup or career change, or simply help you find more peace, clarity, and alignment in your relationship with yourself and the world around you.
How are the remedies made?
Most remedies are made through a process called solar infusion. Fresh flowers are placed in pure water and exposed to sunlight. The energetic imprint of the flower is transferred into the water, which is then preserved and diluted with a small amount of alcohol. This process makes them a very soft and safe, 100% natural form of alternative medicine.
The Bach System
What are the 38 Bach flowers?
The Bach system includes 38 remedies, each associated with a specific emotional state. They are organized into 7 groups, such as fear, uncertainty, loneliness, or overwhelm. Each flower corresponds to a very precise inner experience — from known fears (Mimulus), to deep despair (Sweet Chestnut), or lack of confidence (Larch). You don’t need to know them all. We work from what you feel. You can find the complete list on https://bachcentre.com/en/remedies/the-38-remedies/quick-reference-guide/
Do I need to know them all?
Not at all. You don’t need to know the flowers — we start from what you feel. The right remedies emerge from your emotional state, not from theory. If you’re curious, you can explore them over time, but it’s not necessary to begin.
Who is Dr Bach?
Dr Edward Bach was a physician, bacteriologist and homeopath. Through his work, he observed that emotional states deeply influence our health and overall well-being. He developed 38 plant-based remedies to support emotional balance and inner harmony. His approach was simple: treat the person, not just the symptoms.
Flower Therapy
What is Flower Therapy?
Flower Therapy is a space where you are guided to explore your emotional world. Through conversation and deep listening, we put words on what you are experiencing and feeling. It creates a space to meet yourself more intimately, to understand what is moving within you. From there, I translate what emerges into flower remedies, creating a personalized blend that will support you in bringing awareness and transformation to those emotions. It is a journey of self-discovery, to know yourself more deeply.
What happens during a session?
We open a space together and begin with a simple conversation. I guide you inward, helping you connect with what wants to be seen, felt, or released. We put words on it together. From there, I select the flowers that resonate with your emotional state, and we create a personalized blend based on what you need.
How many sessions do I need?
One session can already support you around a specific intention. For deeper work, it’s recommended to integrate the remedies into your daily life over time. They are usually taken in 21-day cycles. You might begin with one blend focused on a particular emotional state, then adjust and create a new one as things evolve.
Autonomy & posology
How can I take the remedies on my own?
The most common way is to create your own blend using a dropper bottle. Fill it with spring water and add 2 drops of each chosen remedy (up to 7 in one blend). Take at least 4 drops, 4 times a day. Repeat daily for as long as needed. You can also take a remedy directly on the tongue: 2 drops, or diluted in a glass of water.
How long does it take to feel effects?
Some people feel a shift quite quickly. Sometimes within the first days, such as more clarity, a change in perception, or a lighter emotional state. For others, it can take more time, depending on the depth of what is being experienced and the sensitivity of the person. It’s a gradual process, that unfolds differently for each individual.
Where can I buy them?
Original Bach flower remedies are available in many pharmacies, organic shops, or online.
Safety
What are the side effects? Is it 100% Natural?
There are no physical side effects. However, the remedies can create emotional movement. Sometimes feelings may come up more strongly at first before settling or releasing. You might feel more emotional, more tired, or notice shifts in how you experience situations or relationships. This is part of the process of becoming more aware of what is happening within you.
Is it safe for children & pets?
Yes, absolutely. Children and animals are often more receptive to the remedies, as they tend to have fewer emotional filters. The remedies are highly diluted, which makes them very safe. If needed, you can choose alcohol-free versions. Just ask your practitioner or pharmacist.
What about pregnancy?
The remedies are considered safe during pregnancy and can support you through the emotional changes that may arise. They are safe for both mother and baby. If you prefer, you can choose alcohol-free versions, or add the drops to a warm drink so the alcohol naturally evaporates.
